Greg himself was a former atheist turned pastor, and invited his dad to ask any and all questions about religion. So Ed did, and they are some very in-depth and thought-provoking questions. Ones that I myself still wonder about, like evil and pain and natural disasters and the validity of the Bible and how exactly Jesus' death can logically pardon our sins. Greg's answers are so straightforward, and the book really captivated me.
I won't ruin the ending for you, but I will say that this book will change your way of thinking. If you've read it, leave me a comment and let me know what you thought of it. If you haven't read it, go get yourself a copy!

Hey - Have you read "The Shack"? That's another good one!
Oh, yeah, baby! I was going to mention that book too in this post because it also completely changed my way of thinking, but decided to do an entirely separate post on The Shack. So stay tuned for that!
Will do! I'm also getting ready to read "The Hole In Our Gospel" at the suggestion of Steve! I'll let you know how that one is...he says its another think changing book.
Haven't read it but it looks SOOOO interesting! Thanks for the recommendation! :)
I am reading The Shack right now! The book you read sounds good too. I am gradually working my way back into spirituality. Baby steps. Catholicism will do that to you. LOL.
I love this book! It really hit home for me and answered the questions that have held me back from having a spiritual connection with God.
