Thank you to the veterans who sacrificed years of their youth, hours at home with their kids and spouses, and especially to those who gave the ultimate gift of their lives. Thank you also to the families who supported them.

Too true. My hubby served as a Marine during the first bush's gulf war. It was a true nightmare. Answering the phone scared me. I was terrified the entire time that I'd get that call that he paid the ultimate price. :(
They had a pretty cool ceremony at the Middle School today. Jake played in the band, and Kevin sat with the vets.
