Day seven’s lyrics are a plea that a rescuer will come and redeem His captive beloved. For centuries, the people of Israel were told they were God's people and yet they were in deep despair: civil unrest, unfair treatment, attack from all sides. Their hearts begged God for freedom from tyranny, never realizing God would bring big “F” Freedom from big “T” Tyranny.
God is like that: He gives us more than we could ever ask for!
