State Songs

We have a family road trip coming up. In preparation, I’ve been searching for songs about states. It’s been pretty fun trying to compile the list, and I thought I’d share it with you here. Some of these I found on my own, and some I found online and by reading this list here and here too. There are some I’ve never heard, as they are pretty obscure songs.

You might also look up Earl Hughes. He's a local Fairbanksan who wrote (I think) all of his music about Alaska. I'm a big fan of his cd (we had to listen to it while guests were in the gift shop at my summer job two years ago)
