We have a pet! It isn’t an ordinary pet. It’s a squirrel!
He lives in our back yard. We named him Pancake because he lays flat on our patio. He also lays on the base of our tree house.
He is the best pet because he is very silly laying on the ground.
There is another squirrel who lives in the tree above our tree house. We think that is Pancake’s girlfriend!

Katie, I have always wondered how squirrels can make themselves so flat. I think Pancake is a great name!
Great post, Katie! Maybe we can come over and try to spot Pancake. Logan would love to see him. I also have a gift for your mom that I need to get to her! :)
