We all want me time and there's nothing wrong with that!

3. The only perfection is G-d. That's my opinion...but there are people out there who seem closer to it than others :)

4. EVERY KID HAS A MELTDOWN!! Sounds like you handled Jackson's issue just fine to me. I think by sticking to your rule of going potty first was/is really important. That was the first rule I learned at MOMS Club from Marie & Kelly...never threaten something unless you are willing to follow up with it!

I think you rock as a Mom...and that no, you're not perfect, but you spend more time with your kids and do more interesting things with them than most people. I learn a lot from you!! Helps me be a better mom too :)

Love,
BrinaBrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12857032698321715749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3201900948561468627.post-50767234145045648302010-06-27T08:57:23.910-05:002010-06-27T08:57:23.910-05:00You know classical music can be dark and disturbin...You know classical music can be dark and disturbing too. There is nothing like a major meltdown to have you questioning everything.

Hang tough and be gentle with yourself.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01527123571625999061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3201900948561468627.post-60715564565877380822010-06-25T17:05:45.336-05:002010-06-25T17:05:45.336-05:00I love you Poozie:)I love you Poozie:)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07616875717448601881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3201900948561468627.post-63035928214806990502010-06-25T08:42:18.053-05:002010-06-25T08:42:18.053-05:00I love your blog. It's life, and kids and you're doing great.

I'm pretty sure Jackson scarred you way more than you scarred him! He'll be fine. When Isaac was potty training he would throw fits like that too. Sometimes, it was like he was possessed and I would pray over him while he was SO hysterical! But he figured it out and I still don't know how he got potty trained. I think he just did it when he was good and ready.

I'm sorry you're missing your parents. I'm sure they would be so proud of you. You're doing a great job as a parent!Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09563115358249586873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3201900948561468627.post-33232056633459038102010-06-25T07:40:07.602-05:002010-06-25T07:40:07.602-05:00Oh Elizabeth.... I am so sorry... I have to say, ...Oh Elizabeth.... I am so sorry... I have to say, you tell a good story, I feel like I just went through that with you... I could imagine you and Jackson through the entire thing. Don't be so hard on yourself, how would you have ever know he would react like that. I would have thought that was a perfect tactic too.. you are a wonderful mother, and Jackson loves you very much.. you have not scarred him, it will stay with you much longer than it will him. Take a deep breath, and keep doing what you do. You are a good mother..sheryl boerdinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796553291060461862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3201900948561468627.post-36104529145394660962010-06-25T07:37:44.507-05:002010-06-25T07:37:44.507-05:00Not to make you look like a liar or anything, but ...Not to make you look like a liar or anything, but your house looked pretty darn clean yesterday. Or maybe that's just because I rarely dust either.

When we have something fun here and are not in the midst of home repairs, the kids will have to have a playdate here and then you'll see L in all his glory. I personally was shocked at how low-key he was yesterday. I think Jackson is a pretty typical three year old!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16377594606599796121noreply@blogger.com
